Q: How do I become a member in the Church?
A: Our Parish is always open to new members. Please contact our Parish President, Ted Cholod, Father Tsaplan or one of the other executive board members after the Divine Liturgy to inquire about memberhsip.
Q: What languages are the services in?
A: The Sunday Divine Liturgy is predominantly in Ukrainian. There are prayer books available in the pews with an english translation of the service.
The Sunday Evening Vesper Services are in English.
Q: Is there English in the services?
A: Although the Divine Liturgy is predominantly in Ukrainian, The Gospel Readings, Epistle Readings and Sermon are provided in both English and Ukrainian. As well, during the Divine Liturgy the Creed and Lord's Prayer are cited in both Ukrainian and English
If you are interested in singing with the Cathedral Choir, the hymn books provide a transliteration of the Ukrainian into English.
Q: Do you have Sunday School?
A: Yes. The Cathedral has a program at the pre-school and intermediate level. Please see our Sunday School page for further information.
Q: Are non-Ukrainian’s welcome?
A: Absolutely! We welcome and encourage everyone to come and worship with us. Portions of the Divine Liturgy are offered in English in order for everyone attending to feel a spritual connection with God.
Q: Is it possible to meet with the Priest?
A: Please contact Father Roman to inquire about meetings and visitations.
Q: Are children welcome in Church?
A: We encourage children to attend our services. We understand that a full service can be difficult for a child to sit through, therefore we have a room in the sunday school area of the Church where the service is fed to a TV. The audio of the services are also transmitted into the Parish hall.
Q: How do I book the facilities?
A: Please fill out the facility rental form and contact our Facility Rental Manager to inquire about the availibility our hall or mezzanine.
